Katy Perry made an interesting exclamation in a recent interview, she wishes she did not drop out of high school and was more educated. “I’m kind of bummed at this stage that I didn’t have a great education because I could really use that these days,” she confessed to Yahoo.
But Katy a little marred by her school experience. Her parents moved a lot while starting different churches and often pulled Katy and her siblings from school.”I was being pulled out of school even in the middle of school and sometimes being home-schooled. Sometimes we were sent to these really half-Christian, half-education, I-don’t-know-what-they-were schools.”
But Katy was inspired by her music teacher, Agatha Danoff that gave her a financial break on lessons so she is teaming up with Staples for the “Make Roar Happen” campaign through DonorsChoose.org to donate to teachers. “She believed in me, so this is how I could pay it forward from that one experience,” Perry explained. In the end, the $1 million campaign will help fund supplies for thousands of classrooms in the cities the star’s Prismatic World Tour visits.”
I totally agree we need education, but some people go to school to make a lot of money…and she already does so she really doesn’t have to worry about but she could always go back to school. Eva Longoria did it!
