Kelly Osbourne stood by her friend Kathy Griffin after her Fashion Police departure this week, just weeks since Kelly stepped down herself. Kelly supported Kathy decision and tweeted, “I could not be more proud of you @kathygriffin you have my love and support always!” After just 7 episodes Kathy tweeted about her decision to leave E!’s Fashion Police. “After 7 episodes of Fashion Police, I discovered that my style does not fit with the creative direction of the show & now it’s time to move on. I wish E! and the E! team only the best and I hope to continue to make you all laugh performing live or on television, where I can be smart, irreverent, unrepentant and unafraid in observational way that is candid, honest and justified.”
But Kathy also got a little support from a few other famous friends, like Chelsea Handler who tweeted, “@kathygriffin way to go girl. Stick to your guns,” tweeted Handler, adding, “Onwards and sideways. Lub you.”
Now there is another report from TMZ that Kathy was going to get fired, but Kathy says no way…she was going to quit first since she was not cool with a few mean-spirited segments the show wanted to air.
