Khloe Kardashian made a bond, fiery statement when she went red for her new hair color…its hot!!
But why exactly did she turn to red…her hair stylist, Julie Canales from L.A.’s Goodform salon explains…
Kardashian got things started by bringing Canales a photo of a red-headed model ripped from of a magazine.
“She pretty much had in mind what she wanted,” Canales says. “We made a few tweaks to the picture that she had so that it could compliment her and not be so much like the picture.
“She’s a pretty spunky, smart girl and I think the red hair compliments that.”
Canales says the process took her about three hours to do at the salon (the same place sister Kim went blonde in 2009) on Tuesday afternoon, the day before Kardashian made her hair debut at the PCAs.
“We were a little limited on time, because I know she wanted to show her husband before he left for a game out of town,” Canales said.
So what did hubby Lamar Odom think of his wife’s new look? “He liked it right away!” Canales said.
