Almost everything Kim Kardashian does goes viral and this is not different…Katie Couric sent Kim and Kanye a baby gift for North and well Kim wasn’t having it…calling her a “FakeMediaFriends.” Kim loaded a photo of the note on Instagram from Katie and slammed her with the hashtags, “#IHateFakeMediaFriends #MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkShit.” The note shohwed good intentions with Katie writing, Dear Kim and Kanye, Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl!…And may I humbly suggest you continue the K tradition…Fondly, Katie Couric,” parts of teh notes were cut off.Is Kanye rubbing off of Kim? But why the beef…Katie once told InTouch she didn’t know why Kim and her family were famous. “I don’t understand—why are they so famous? I think it’s mostly teenage girls that are interested.”
Update…Katie told E!News, “I’ve met Kim before and I think she’s a really sweet person,” Couric said in a statement to E! News.”I was responding to a reporter’s question, and explaining how I’m intrigued by the public’s fascination with her family. I didn’t mean to hurt her feelings. The gift is genuine, and I’m happy for Kim and Kanye.”
