Lauren Conrad and Derek Hough have been secretly dating, but it may be over…it ok…it was ‘always casual’!
Life & Style has exclusively learned that after three months of dating, former star of The Hills Lauren Conrad has broken up with Dancing With the Stars pro Derek Hough. “Their relationship reached its peak,” confirms a friend of hers. “It was always casual.”
Indeed, notes a second friend, the relationship never got serious. “She had fun with Derek — he used to send her cute texts and sing to her — but she always kept her options open,” the friend says.
A third source is even more blunt, noting that after Lauren’s split from her boyfriend of three years, actor Kyle Howard, in June, “This was a rebound that wasn’t going to last. Derek never thought it would, either.”
