Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez won Dancing with the Stars last night, but she was favored to win from the beginning! The excited young dancer told the audience, “I just want to thank everyone for their support and riding along this crazy roller coaster of my life. My goal is just to inspire others as I go on with my journey and thanks for being there for me.” Her partner Val added, “Thank you so much! To all the kids out there, you don’t have to wait to grow up to change the world. Be great. You’re the future. Thank you so much!”

On Tuesday night Laurie Hernandez and Val Chmerkovskiy beat out Calvin Johnson and Lindsay Arnold, and James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess for the season 23 trophy of the reality dancing competition show.

Congrats to her!
