Lil KIm was forced to cancel her appearance at the Essence Festival in New Orleans this weekend. The rapper was supposed to hit the festival stage with Puff Daddy and the Bad Boy family but was forced to cancel over “unfulfilled business obligations,” her Rep told People. “She’s saddened by the news but matters are not within her control.”
Kim added, “I was looking forward to it. I’m so disappointed and sad about that.” Lil Kim will appear on the Bad Boy Reunion Tour as sceduled and she will be honored at the VH1 Hip Hop Honors: All Hail the Queens alongside Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott and Salt-N-Pepa.
