Lindsay Lohan will not have to worry this time about that hit-and-run case since the charges have been dropped! Lohan allegedly hit a pedestrain on a NYC sidewalk as she made her way into a parking lot in September. She was supposed to appear in coart tomoorow in regard to the case, but the charges were dropped as prosecutors decided there was not enough evidence according to TMZ.

But Lohan still has problems at home, her father Michael seemed to think his daughter needed an intervention, when she failed to show up for work and he showed up at her home to force her to get help. She denied she needed an intervention and called the police. Now Michael wants a conservatorship…ala Britney Spears although he says he does not want to be in charge of his daughter and her money, but does not want ex-wife Dina to be in charge and he wants to force Lindsay into rehab.

Lindsay’s siblings, Ali, Michael and Dakota released a statement telling their father to stay out of their lives,

“Take this as your other daughter ‘s plea to an absent father. I have always tried to stay out of the press because it hurts me to see how you malign my mother. But in this instance, I am breaking my silence. Please stop waging your own personal war against my family. We don’t need you to intervene because we can take care of ourselves without you, as we have been all these years.”

Michael Jr. added,  “I think it’s unfortunate that the public had to be unwittingly invited into the lives of my family members due to my father’s lies. That being said, I think everyone can understand and see why my sisters, brother, mother and I do not associate with him anymore.”

Dakota said, “I have no good memories of my so called father. He has never been part of my life, and needs to leave my family alone!”

Wow…take the hint Michael!
