Remember infamous ice skater Tonya Harding…you know the one linked to injuring fellow skater Nancy Kerrigan at 1994 Olympics….yes there is a movie being made about Harding and it will star Margot Robbie. According to Deadline, Robbie is attached to play the disgraced ice skater who allegedly asked then husband, Jeff Gillooly and a few friends to club Kerrigan’s legs in an effort to sideline her form the competition.
Kerrigan ended up silver medal while Harding placed eighth and was later banned from the sport for life.
I never understood why Tonya wanted to hurt Nancy when she was a great skater in her own right. She denied being involved in the incident. I wonder how this movie will be? And will it be in time for the Winter Olympics in 2 years?
