A new report released claims investigators have found no evidence of mechanical issues with the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT carrying Paul Walker and Roger Rodas at the time of the crash. They have also ruled out debris or other roadway conditions as a cause for the crash. “We’re looking at speed and speed alone,” a person familiar with the investigation told The Associated Press.

Investigators with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department have also calculated a speed the car may have been driving at, but the number won’t be confirmed until Porsche engineers come to California in January to get the data from the car’s black box. The official also told the AP the Porsche may have also been on a curve in the road just before the crash.“They were well out of the curve when they lost control,” the official said.

According TMZ,  multiple law enforcement sources familiar with the investigation say the investigation is ongoing and there have been NO determinations regarding the cause of the crash…they still have to check the engine, brakes and tires.
