It’s been just a few weeks since Steve Harvey fumbled the Miss Universe pageant and named the wrong winner. The crown may have been given to Miss Colombia but according to the card the winner was actually Miss Philippines. Well now Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez is ready to speak.
“It was very humiliating for me, but also for the whole country and for all the people not only from Colombia but the other Latinos that were in the auditorium,” Gutierrez told Latin Times. She even thought it was a joke…adding, “this is going to be a joke, because in the rehearsals he used to play around with questions and I thought he was going to continue with that same tone to make people laugh.” But even she speculated it the entire situation was a ratings ploy at her expense. “If that was the goal, they succeeded.”
The Latina even agreed with Donald Trump on one issue….sharing the crown! “For the first time I agree with him,” Gutiérrez said laughing.
