Could it be true, could the most feisty Bravo Housewife, Teresa Giudice be getting her own spin-off? Umm Maybe!!! Sources say that Teresa is the most bankable Housewife that Bravo has ever seen…more than Bethenny.
According to PopEater,
“If they can give Bethenny her own show you can bet that they will give Teresa one,” a TV insider tells me. “You can’t come up with a better script than Teresa’s life. She’s a mother and wife [of Joe] going through financial troubles and having to start all over again. Everyone has been hit hard by this economy and watching Teresa and her family struggle through problems will make for great TV.”
Teresa is certainly one of the most popular ‘Housewives’ of all time, having sold more magazines (by appearing on the cover) than any other housewife INCLUDING Bethenny. Also, she’s sold a crazy amount of copies of ‘Skinny Italian,’ her cookbook, so that’s pretty solid proof that people just can’t get enough of her.
“Bravo is sitting on gold with Teresa,” one TV executive tells me. “No one could have predicted which wife would take off and which wouldn’t. However I think we can all agree that Teresa is now the biggest star the franchise has ever created. It makes perfect sense that they are discussing giving her her own show. They would be stupid not to be talking about it.”
When I contacted a Bravo spokesperson for comment, they cheeky devil told me, “Your Bravo insider has just as much chance of landing a spin-off show as Teresa.”
