Paris Jackson is all grown up and opening about her father’s death, her suicide attempts and sexual assault. We all remember Paris wearing those masks as a little girl, but we only first caught a glimpse of the little girl at her father’s funeral, but now the 18 year old daughter of MJ tells Rolling Stone her father was murdered. “He would drop hints about people being out to get him. And at some point he was like, ‘They’re gonna kill me one day.’” Dr. Conrad Murray was convicted of manslaughter for her father’s death, but she believes there was more to his death.
When she was asked if she really believes her father was killed she answered, “Absolutely. Because it’s obvious. All arrows point to that. It sounds like a total conspiracy theory and it sounds like bullshit, but all real fans and everybody in the family knows it. It was a setup. It was bullshit.” And Paris wants justice for his death, but is waiting for the right time. “But it’s a chess game. And I am trying to play the chess game the right way. And that’s all I can say about that right now.”
Paris also talked about her suicide attempt and sexual assault at age 14. “It was just self-hatred,” Paris says of her suicide attempt age 15. “Low self-esteem, thinking that I couldn’t do anything right, not thinking I was worthy of living anymore.” And with all that was going on with her life she has endured a sexual assault by a significantly older “complete stranger” when she was a teen. “I don’t wanna give too many details. But it was not a good experience at all, and it was really hard for me, and, at the time, I didn’t tell anybody.”
I feel sad for Paris, but she seems super resilient and strong!
