I have no words right now. Sadness and frustration takes over and hatred still finds it’s way into our lives. Please keep the 50 people killed and 53 people injured in Orlando in your prayers.

President Obama addressed the nation today following the worst mass shooting in U.S. history early this morning. “Though it is still early in the investigation…we know enough to say it was an act of terror and an act of hate,” President Obama said in a five-minute speech.

Presidential hopefuls Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump both tweeted on the situation, Hilary writing, “Woke up to hear the devastating news from FL. As we wait for more information, my thoughts are with those affected by this horrific act. -H.” While Trumps crass still shined through, “Appreciate the congrats for being right on radical Islamic terrorism, I don’t want congrats, I want toughness & vigilance. We must be smart!”

By now I know who have heard the news but what appears to be an American born Islamic radical, Omar Mateen opened fire in the popular Orlando gay night, Pulse killing 50 and injuring another 50 plus. The suspects father denied knowing of the incident and attempted to say that his son was upset when he saw two men kissing and that is was may have prompted the attack —adding he didn’t believe it was based on religion. But authorities say he had pledged an allegiance to ISIS.
