Paris Hilton has a certain image…kind of a spoiled socialite, who we met on the The Simple Life.But now she says that was all an act and you will get to know her better on her new reality show! What do you think? Has Paris been playing a character all this time?

Paris Hilton claims she was merely “playing a character” on “The Simple Life” and says she’ll show viewers “the real me” on her new reality program, “The World According to Paris,” co-starring her mom Kathy Hilton and Charlie Sheen’s estranged wife Brooke Mueller.
“It’s a show like I’ve never done before. I’m really letting cameras into my real life, and it’s just a really all-access pass into what goes on,” Paris tells ET.
The show is expected to kick off this spring on Oxygen, and Paris says she looks forward to being herself this time around.
“When I did ‘The Simple Life’ I was playing a character that I created and I had no idea it would last so many seasons, so I had to continue doing that character, so I think people assume that’s really how I am. But when they see this new show they’re going to see the real me,” the socialite says.
Paris says cameras will follow her every move, even if she and her boyfriend decide to go on a date: “He’s very shy, so this is all very new to him, but he loves he loves me so much and supports me,” she says.
The show also features Paris’ mother Kathy Hilton, and Kathy’s pal Brooke Mueller. Kathy tells ET she thinks the show’s a good way for her and Paris to spend quality time together since Paris does so much traveling.
“How funny that in order to spend time with your child you have to do a show with her,” Brooke jokes.
“Uh-huh, very funny,” Kathy sarcastically replies in good humor.
