A good blow out is hard to come by so when I have it…I want to extend it. Suave Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo (under $5) gives me that extra day before I have to wash my hair and start all over! And let me tell you it smells great, like hair spray (sweet, powdery)! I used another well known dry shampoo and it smelled too lemony for me! I usually wash my hair twice a week so its like every three days… day 1 and 2 are ok and by day 3, I have caught a case of the greas-ies (yes I made up the word)! I only needed one more day and the Dry Shampoo really  helped me out with extending my blow out, plus bonus its give me great texture and volume. On the third day…I made some loose curls just on my ends with a clip-less curling iron and sprayed the dry shampoo at my roots, took a teasing comb and tease a few sections to get vava voom volume! For under $5 the dry shampoo is a great investment for the lazy girl or the busy girl or the girl who just needs some volume. It for guys too…dry shampoo doesn’t discriminate!

How do I use the dry shampoo…I  section off my hair into three layers, my crown, just under the crown and the bottom layer. I get oiliest on the top of my head and I pull my hair up and spray underneath, not on top. Since this is a dry shampoo and it basically a powder I don’t want to loose any shine on the shop layer of my hair so I only attack just underneath the top layer. You let the dry shampoo sit a minute and the shake your hair with your fingers  and then comb through with a brush.

Nicole Richie recently used the Dry Shampoo to give her Golden Globes ponytail a little oomph! Suave Professionals® Stylist, Jenny Cho shares her tips on how to get Nicole’s red carpet look:

1. Spray Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo directly at the root, crown and front of hair. Use your dryer to work in excess powder, and brush through to refresh hair before styling.

2. Pull-up and section-off hair around crown, then tease to create volume; set aside.

3. Use a brush to smooth-out the hair on the sides and back. Pull the back section of hair into a ponytail, securing it with an elastic.

4. Take a side section and wrap around the ponytail, securing with a bobby pin. Take the opposite side and also wrap around the pony, securing with a bobby pin. Lastly, take the teased crown section and lightly smooth and brush back over the ponytail.

5. Work a dime-size amount of Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Smooth & Shine Serum into the palms of your hands, then delicately smooth ponytail strands and eliminate flyaways.
