A new report is going around claiming that Rihanna is super close to releasing a new album…in fact the album would drop in November, with a new single as soon as next week. Rihanna did say this year she would concentrate on acting opportunties and her clothing line.
Rihanna’s reign continues. According to Def Jam France, via Idolator, the singer will release her seventh studio album this November. She’s released an album in November for the past three years.
In addition, Rih Rih will reportedly release her first single on Monday, September 17.
After the Rihanna Navy caught wind of the news, Def Jam’s French arm deleted the initial tweet then sent out another one saying that more information will be released tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 13).
“Nouvelle annonce ce jeudi à propos de Rihanna sur notre compte,” Def Jam French tweeted, which translates to “New announcement this Thursday about Rihanna on our account.”
The album news comes days after she announced the North American dates for her ‘Diamonds World Tour.’ Rih Rih also just performed two “Talk That Talk” singles (“We Found Love” and “Cockiness”) at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards last Thursday (Sept. 6).
