Robinson Cano's RC24 Foundation "Super Heroes" Fundraiser and Domino Tournament - Arrivals

Robinson Cano just signed a very lucrative $240 million contract with the Mariner’s but he has some baby mama trouble to deal with. The popular, former Yankee slugger has a three-year-old son, was asked about the child support issue at a conference and he just brushed off the question and answered, “My family is more happy that I got what I want here, not just about any money.” But all the way in Dominican Republic his son, Robinson Miguel Cano is getting $600 a month from his wealthy father…just peanuts compared to his $15 million pay check and projected $24 million 2014 pay check.

Cano’s child’s mother, Jackelin Castro has been fighting to get a better child support payment. “All we can do is try to provide a sufficient amount to the child for his future,” Castro’s lawyer, Wendy Diaz, told the Daily News. “Sadly, we cannot force a judge to tell Robinson to love his son more. We want to secure the boy’s future and have something saved for him. This is a step toward providing that.” A judge ordered Cano to pay $600 of a “provisional pension” on top of the $600 a month he already pays in child support. Castro wants a better living arrangement for her son, instead of her small, modest home she is currently living in.  Diaz says Castro wants $25,000 a month. “We are fighting for $25,000 a month,” Diaz said. “We believe that is fair.”

Really he is giving her pennies for the amount he is worth…plus he was a mansion on the island with a Lamborghini in the driveway…he can do better for his son.
