Salma Hayek’s brother, Sami Hayek was involved in a fatal car accident on Sunday in L.A. Hayek was driving a 2006 Ford GT on Sunset Boulevard when he lost control and crossed into the path of on-coming traffic. In a report obtained by E!News, Hayek allegedly crashed into another car, a 2011 Toyota Tacoma truck driven by a a 20-year-old. The passenger in Hayek’s car, a 43-year-old male from Mexico, suffered major blunt force trauma to his body and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Hayek sustained several broken bones and a cut to his head and the other driver sustained a broken foot and body pain. Both men were taken to a nearby hospital. The crash is still being investigated.
