Sam Smith is on the road to recovery after undergoing surgery for a vocal hemorrhage. “Just woken up from op. I’m high on pain killers and listening to Whitney Houston hahahahaha,” the British crooner tweeted following his operation. Last week Smith revealed that he was going to undergo “suspension microlaryngoscopy surgery” to treat a hemorrhage on his vocal cords after being forced to miss several concerts. Hopefully Smith is on the mend now and will be back to singing in a few weeks.
