Sarah Jessica Parker was the queen of single ladies of NYC as ‘Carrie Bradshaw’ in Sex and the City, but she says it is odd to see a new teenage Carrie in The Carrie Diaries. When asked by Net-a-porter about seeing the new Carrie she said, “I’m not sure… You know, I think it’s one of those tests of your generosity. She [AnnaSophia Robb] is a lovely girl and I want her to feel good about it, but it’s… odd.”
