Singer Selena Quintanilla will get a posthumous honor—a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year according to the Walk of Fame Selection Committee of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.  The singer was tragically killed 22 years ago by her fan club employee, Yolanda Saldívar, in 1995. Saldívar was accused of embezzling money from the fan club. Selena was only 23.

Selena Gomez was actually named after the singer. Quintanilla’s most popular songs were “Como la Flor,” “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom,” and “Dreaming of You.”
