The View‘s Sherri Shepherd’s messy divorce went public last week and her soon to ber ex-husband, Lamar Sally has finally broke his silence on the split and he came bringing jokes. Sally told People he lost 50 pounds on the divorce diet.”Use a slim picture. Not the fat one from six months ago … I’m on the divorce diet,” Sally joked. And while he declined to comment on his wife and their impending divorce he did say, “I’m happy to be a father.”
Sally filed for divorce on May 2, but the story broke last week that the couple had not only split but are expecting a baby via surrogate.
