Shia LaBeouf was arrested for an altercation with a man in front of his Anti-Trump camera near the Museum of the Moving Image in New York City. Reportedly Shia and the man engaged in a verbal argument before things got physical in which Shia allegedly pulled the other man’s scarf and scratched his face while doing that—but he pushed the man. The man declined medical attention according to ABCNews. Shia was arrested on on suspicion of misdemeanor assault and harassment.

Shia was charged and given a desk appearance ticket for court at a later date. Shia started his camera protest after Donal Trump’s inauguration. The website for the project states, “”Open to all, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the participatory performance will be live-streamed continuously for four years, or the duration of the presidency. In this way, the mantra “HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US” acts as a show of resistance or insistence, opposition or optimism, guided by the spirit of each individual participant and the community.”
