Simon Cowell says the roles have changed and he is no longer the ‘mean one’ as he was on American Idol (don’t you miss him on that show) on The X Factor new judge, Britney Spears is ‘quite mean’ he says. “[She] is a fascinating person because you just don’t know anything about her,” Cowell told reports during a conference call. “She’s very unpredictable. You never know what is going to happen. She has taken this very seriously and she’s surprisingly quite mean. In the past we’ve had judges that never say no. [But] she can’t say no quick enough on this show. She’s quite difficult to please.”
