I have never heard of Ellie Goulding until last night when I saw her on SNL. She sounded great…very Indie pop! But did you know the young British singer has the honor of singing at the Royal Wedding…great gig!
“It was an amazing honor to be asked by Kate and William to perform at their party,” Goulding, who also performed Saturday on a Tina Fey-hosted Saturday Night Live, told the BBC recently. “The atmosphere was incredible, and it is a night I will never forget.”
Goulding, 24, serenaded Prince William, his wife, Duchess Catherine, and a slew of other top-tier guests with her version of “Your Song,” originally written by Sir Elton John, a close friend of the late Princess Diana.
