Lindsay Lohan finally took the ‘SNL’ stage last night and while Lindsay had good intentions going in to her hosting gig, she fell a little flat in some of her skits. Lindsay’s opening monologue showcased all her past problems like wearing a SCRAM, is she on drugs ( Kenan checked her pupils) and Kristen frisked her for stolen items, but something was lacking. I fell asleep while watching SNL but I will say that Lindsay used the cue cards a lot. TMZ claims Lindsay thinks she did great although there were a few hitches!
Sources close to Lindsay tell TMZ she understands it wasn’t a perfect show, but she feels proud of the episode. We’re told there were several last minute changes — including ditching her singing monologue in favor of one with cameos from Jimmy Fallon and Jon Hamm (see below).
Our sources say Lindsay was excited to be back working and really missed being a part of the action.
According to our sources, Lindsay understands people are going to bash her performance regardless … but she feels she did the best she could do.
Let’s all look back at someone who knocked ‘SNL’ out of the park…I’m looking at you Melissa McCarthy!!! And I am really starting to think Jon Hamm was there…just in case…
