Taraji P. Henson will Saturday Night Live debut on Saturday Night Live this week, but is she anything like Cookie Lyons from ‘Empire’…you’ll have to wait, but according to Tarran Killum she might be! And umm that show about ‘Umpires’ miiiiight not work too well. Who else is excited to see Taraji flex her live muscles?
Taraji spoke with ET after her promos and gushed over the opportunity. “It’s like a dream come true. Legends do SNL. I’m a legend.” Ohhh snap, but will there be an Empire sketch? “They’ve pitched me a couple sketches and I didn’t hear one Cookie sketch. I think they already did it.” She’s talking about the episode Chris Hemsworth hosted. “I must have watched that thing 10 times. That’s when I knew I’d made it. My publicist called and said, ‘You know you’re legendary when SNL spoofs you.’ So then I puffed my chest out the next day. I walked a little different.”
