Tom Cruise’s neighbor, Jason Sullivan was in for a rude awakening when he drunkenly entered Cruise’s property in Beverly Hills and was greeted by his security with a taser. The man was spotted scaling the fence and attempting to get into the home…he was later arrested and taken to the hospital for injuries sustained from the taser. Police say Sullivan was confused and wondered onto the wrong property.
A man was arrested Sunday night for allegedly trespassing the star’s Beverly Hills home after Cruise’s security team saw him hop a fence and tasered him, E! News has confirmed.
According to the Beverly Hills Police Department, the prowler has been identified Jason Sullivan, 41, a neighbor who reportedly entered the star’s property in a drunken fit.The incident occurred at 9:35 p.m. when a security guard noticed a man scaling a fence in order to access the house.
Sullivan was shot with a stun gun and detained before police arrived to take him into custody. He was reportedly treated at a nearby hospital for injuries related to the tasering.
“Sullivan lives at an adjacent property and was intoxicated at the time of the incident and may have confused himself and entered the wrong property,” police said in a statement.
Neither Cruise nor his family were at home at the time.
Update: Tom will not press charges against neighbor, “Tom’s not a vindictive guy.The guy was drunk. He didn’t have a malicious intent.”
