The star of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Ellie Kemper is pregnant with her first child. Kemper, who also starred on The Office stopped by “The Tonight Show” and talked Jimmy Fallon that Tina Fey knew about her pregnancy before her own mother.
Ellie was still filming Unbreakable when she learned she was pregnant and was forced to tell her boss Tina Fey about the pregnancy when the show called for a roller coaster scene.”We had a table read and I saw that my character was supposed to be on a roller coaster. It was still very early on, but I felt like a pregnant lady on a roller coaster is not ideal so I did — I had to tell my boss, Tina Fey. I told her before I told my mom.”
Soo the scene had to be switched up!”Because it was still so early on we decided, oh well, we’ll just tell people I have back injury and that’s why I can’t ride the roller coaster. I could not act like I had a back injury. I’m an actress presumably.”
Awww how sweet is Tina to cover for Ellie. Ellie married hubby Michael Koman in 2012.
