Serena Williams is taking full fault for her US Open loss, but that’s not how the social media felt at the time—they blamed her then-beau for her loss. “I don’t think that was fair. I’m the one who’s playing, who’s making mistakes or making winners. I’m not one to blame anyone else for anything. And I don’t think anyone else should either. I played a really good opponent that day. And I wasn’t at my best,” Williams told Glamour. I totally forgot they dated!
Serena does have some worries—the Zika virus in Rio. “I’m not taking Zika lightly. Especially being older, I definitely am going everywhere protected. I’m protecting myself.”
