Lindsay Lohan was just criticizing Amanda Bynes and now she is back having her own legal troubles. Lohan says she did not realize she hit any pedestrians (the knee of a male pedestrian in his 30s) early Wednesday morning when she arrived at the Dream Hotel and she was not drinking! She was not aware of any incidents until she got arrested after 2am.
According to TMZ‘s sources … Lindsay was taken to the station, fingerprinted, photographed and booked for leaving the scene of an accident — a misdemeanor — and then released with a desk appearance ticket … meaning she did not have to pay bail before release. We’re told alcohol was not involved. We’re told the alleged victim was hospitalized … however, he was not knocked down or dragged, and didn’t have any visible injuries.
The victim, Jose Rodriguez — a Manhattan chef says Lohan was drunk at the time of the incident. He says she was slurring and “smelled like alcohol real bad.”
Rodriguez told the Daily News he had just gotten off work at the Bottega restaurant when all of the sudden “[I] saw this car come real quick and hit me.I was in so much pain … I fell to the side.” Rodriguez says he was taken to Bellevue Hospital where he was treated for torn tendons — and claims doctors gave him morphine to deal with the pain.
As for Lindsay — she says Rodriguez is making the whole thing up … claiming she didn’t hit anyone this morning.
No word yet if this arrest will affect her probation!
