Maria Shriver has released a statement regarding the new revelation that her husband, Arnold Schwarzenegger father a love child with one of their household workers 10 years ago…
“This is a painful and heartbreaking time,” said Shriver, 55. “As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment.”
This must be a terrible time for Maris and their 4 children (ages 14-21).
There is one upside to the entire ordeal for Maria… people want her on TV and everyone is approaching her for interviews and opportunities!
TMZ has learned … a swarm of television syndicators as well as networks are trying to snag Maria Shriver, in the wake of her split with Arnold Schwarzenegger … and Oprah Winfrey is leading the pack.
Sources tell TMZ … Oprah met with Maria last week, trying to convince her to become a talk show host on Oprah’s OWN Network. We’ve also learned Maria is going to be a guest on Oprah’s final show.
But that’s just the beginning. Big TV syndicators want Maria to do a daily talk show. As for neworganizations, they’re trying to get Maria as well. We’re told NBC was lukewarm on the idea of bringing Maria back a few months ago, but the network’s interested has intensified in the last week.
