There will be no big send off for Randy Jackson, but his time of American Idol is officially over. After 13 years with the show mostly as a judge and then a mentor, Randy has bid adieu to the Fox singing competition show. “After 13 seasons, I felt now was the perfect time to leave American Idol,” Jackson told People in a statement. “I’m proud to have been a part of a series that discovered some incredible artists and will go down in history as one of the most successful television shows ever. A true original, Idol started it all. Onto what’s next.”
I wonder if it was his choice?
