Who wasn’t watching Empire last night right…you know I was! The episode titled, “Die But Once/Who I Am” had more twist and turns than a daytime soap opera. So here are the five times I said…what in the world! Spoilers ahead!
1. Cookie almost kills Lucious. After Lucious confesses to all his crimes while talking in his sleep she decides to smother him with a pillow. He accidentally stops her, but he finds out she almost killed him in a surveillance video in his bedroom.
Who checks their surveillance cameras in their bedrooms daily?
2. Hakeem retaliates against Lucious with a public diss rap and has sex with Anika, his father’s former boo. Talks about yuck….daddy’s sloppy seconds!
3. Lucious not dying. While he is dying from ALS he is still sick and decides to name Jamal his successor…Just in case!
4. Whoa…Cookie and Anika begrudgingly join up against Lucious and plan a hostile Empire takeover with Hakeem and Andre.
5. Rhonda kills Vernon during a fight with Andre annnnnnd she’s pregnant! But is that man even dead! Yes he lost a lot of blood, but we didn’t see what happened!
Honorable mention was Lucious getting arrested…but that was a given at some point tight and his real name is Dwight Walker!
