Adele sings like an angel—but she had a nasty habit that could have killed her—smoking. The Hello singer told The Mirror about her fear for her life. “If I’d carried on smoking, I’d probably have died from a smoking-related illness, and I think that’s really bad. If I was dying from lung cancer I would have potentially given it to myself and that wouldn’t be something I’d be proud of.” Adele smoked 25 cigarettes a day and needed to cancel her 2011 tour to get vocal surgery.
She also told Rolling Stone something similar. “I absolutely loved [smoking], but it’s not that fucking cool when I’m dying from a smoking-related illness and my kid is, like, devastated.”
Side note…Adele fan are super pissed with Ticket master’s system after millions tried to get ticket son Thursday and jammed the system. Whoever got a ticket…CONGRATS!!
