Adriana Lima has come to the defense of her friend, Gisele Bundchen. Gisele violated the Patriots code…not to bash any of the players…when she said, “My husband cannot f–king throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.” Adriana says, ‘Leave Gisele alone!’
Her husband may be a star quarterback on offense, but beleaguered supermodel Gisele Bündchen has quite a defense on her side.
“Leave her alone!” Victoria’s Secret supermodel Adriana Lima told Life & Style at the Victoria’s Secret Angels Kiss and Tell This Valentine’s Day event in NYC on Feb. 8.
Adriana was offering her opinion on Gisele’s now infamous post-Super Bowl rant, in which she defended her husband, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, by blaming his teammates for their 21-17 loss to the New York Giants. Gisele, 31, responded to fans heckling her as she left the game, held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Feb. 5: “You have to catch the ball when you’re supposed to catch the ball. “My husband cannot f–king throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.”
Soon after, blogs and news outlets lit up regarding her controversial comments. Even Giants running back Brandon Jacobs weighed in: “She just needs to continue to be cute and shut up.”
