After a few years off from the music scene, the R&B singer popped up at Lincoln Center for BET Network’s Upfront on Wednesday night and not only did she perform a few hits but she also debuted a new song, ‘Hallelujah.’ She told the crowd, “I feel like I’m performing for my family in my living room.”

In a recent Snapchat Alicia had already started teasing her new music telling fans, “I’ve been dying to share some news with you for a while. I have new music to share with you and I’m gonna be performing in the next couple of weeks. I’ll be performing my new music in my hometown city…on an iconic New York stage.”
