Legendary singer, Prince is dead. We are still waiting for a full report, but the icon has died! According to TMZ, Prince was found his Paisley Park compound in Minnesota early Thursday morning. The singer was in the news just last week when his airplane was forced to make an emergency landing on April 15th in Illinois. It was reported he was battling the flu.

Update: Prince died in his home’s elevator. He was pronounced dead just 25 minutes after being found elevator about 9:45 a.m. on Thursday. There is still no official cause of death. His publicist released a statement.”It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning at the age of 57,” Yvette Noel-Schure, said in a statement provided to CBS. “There are no further details as to the cause of death at this time.”
Fans and celeb friends have flooded social media with goodbyes for the singer.
