Alicia Vikander is ready to step into Angelina Jolie’s shoes. The Oscar winner will reportedly play Lara Croft in the Tomb Raiders reboot according to THR. This time around the story will follow a young Croft on her very first adventure—a little bit of a prequel. Star Wars Daisy Ridley was in talks to play the video game heroine, but ultimatley the role went to Vikander, who has wrapped Jason Bourne.
Angelina played the beautiful/sexy archaeologist in 2001’s Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and 2003’s Lara Croft: Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life.There are so many reboots these days? Do you like revamps or will you stick with the original?
