Amber Heard and Johnny Depp gave an awkward and still apology to Australia after being accused of smuggling their dogs into the country illegally. In the video Amber tells the camera, ” “Australia is free of many pests and disease that are commonplace around the world. That is why Australia has to have such strict biosecurity laws… I am truly sorry that Pistol and Boo were not declared.”

With Depp adding, “Australians are just as unique [as Australia], both warm and direct. When you disrespect Australian law, they will tell you firmly.”

Amber plead guilty to to illegally bringing her dogs into Australia last year and will serve no jail time. Australia dropped the two importation charges and she was given a one-month $1,000 good behavior bond.
