This divorce just got ugly, Amber Heard is accusing her husband of 15 months, Johnny Depp of domestic abuse. The actress showed up to court today with a bruise on her face. According to TMZ, Heard and her lawyer headed to an L.A. courtroom to claim that Depp had been abusive on numerous occasions in their marriage—and they have photo proof (which Amber says happened on Saturday evening). She says Depp hit her with his iPhone on her face.
Heard went on to add that she filed for divorce on Monday after the attack. She says that she was on the phone with a friend when the incident happened and that Depp shattered a ton of stuff at their home—while on the phone Depp tried to grab her phone and she yelled for her friend to call the police. She says he left before the police came, but he offered her money to keep quiet, but she filed for divorce instead.
This just got so ugly! But a source tells ET that their marriage had been on the rocks for a while now.
“They have been having problems for quite some time,” a source told ET. “It started a few months after they got married and it just never got better. It was extremely volatile.”
