Amber Heard has decided to withdraw her request for spousal support from her estranged husband, Johnny Depp. She believed that it was normal procedure to ask for support in a divorce proceedings, but the move has since been misinterpreted.

Amber’s lawyer filed a declaration requesting a removal for temporary spousal support according to TMZ, to concentrate on the restraining order saying it is being “used against me to distract and divert the public away from the very serious real issue of domestic violence.” The documents added, “In light of the coordinated false and negative media campaign falsely depicting my attempts to attain a CLETS Domestic Violence Restraining Order as being financially motivated, I am hereby with drawing the request…for spousal support.”Amber also said that Johnny made $30 million last year and she believed the court would have given her $1 million a month in temporary support. She had originally asked for $50k a month to cover her monthly expenses. Johnny and Amber had no pre-nup—-now that’s weird!
