Amy Pascal bruised a lot of egos when a few sensitive emails were released during the Sony Hack scandal. Pascal did admit in an interview at the Women in the World conference (via Recode) that she was fired following the hack scandal. “All the women here are doing incredible things in this world. All I did was get fired. Everyone knows everything about me. ”
When asked about Sony producer Scott Rudin calling Angelina a “minimally talented spoiled brat,” Pascal answered, “Angie didn’t care.” But she was a little surprised by the negative press, “I’m not supposed to say anything about that. But I will say that I was. People found reasons that going through my trash and printing it was an okay thing to do. They found a way to justify that. And they have to live with that.”
