This might be Amy Schumer’s year, but the comedienne has gotten under the skin of Disney and LucasFilms over her recent Star Wars themed GQ cover. It all went down when someone on Twitter made a comment questioning how Disney would get Amy do a over like this…”I can’t believe @Disney signed off on the use of @starwars characters/props in the fashion depicted in @GQMagazine.” Well they didn’t, The Stars Wards account responded, “Lucasfilm & Disney did not authorize, participate in or condone the inappropriate use of our characters in this manner.”

Amy is used to getting slapped on the wrist she explained in her GQ interview. “Oh, every day of my life. Always. I’ve always had my wrist slapped for being myself,” responded when the writer asked, “Is anyone still encouraging you to be someone you’re not?”

She later added, “Honestly, all the stuff I thought I might get in trouble for, I’ve been praised for. It’s just in rooms—I’ll say what I really think but people think I’m joking. So I’m talking to one of the heads of, I think it was NBCUniversal, and I’m like, ‘Excuse me, I want to go talk to someone who’s fun.’ Like just a total asshole. And they’re [acts delightfully amused] ‘Oh! There she goes!’ But it’s really what I’m thinking.”
