Ariana Grande comes off like she’s the sweetest girl on earth but accoridng to her she’s really not as sweet as her Sam & Cat character. Ariana tells Billboard Magazine that she was “dark and deranged” as a child. And we thought she was as sweet as pie! “I think people see me as a little cutesy thing. But I’m literally the most sardonic person you’ve ever met.”

Ariana’s scaring me! “I always wanted to have skeleton face paint on or be wearing a Freddy Krueger mask, and I would carry a hockey stick around. I was like a mini-Helena Bonham Carter.” Sitting in the cavelike lounge we’ve retreated to in downtown L.A., she looses a throaty, almost maniacal laugh. “For my fifth birthday party we had a Jaws theme and all my friends left crying. I mean, I still am that way. But when I was little it was more concerning. There was a stage, when I was 3 or 4, where my mom thought I might grow up to be a serial killer.”

From serial killer to pop star…a long way? Anyways Ariana’s former friend and Sam & Cat co-star Jennette McCurdy is throwing their friendship waaaay under the bus after throwing major shade at Ariana on her new web series, What’s Next for Sarah? The character ‘Gloriana’ —umm yea– says she’s vegan and she has that famous high ponytail–its a dig at her old friend let’s top beating around the bush.
