Sad news for those expecting to see Beyonce perform at Coachella this year—-she will not be performing after all. In a statement to the AP, “Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyonce has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding.”
It’s been debated whether the very pregnant (with twins) pop star would perform in the April festival, but after a slow and steady performance at the Grammy’s the mom-to-be has decided to lay off appearances per her doctor’s orders. But there is good news—Beyonce will return in 2018 to headline. No replacement has been named!
