We all patiently waited for Ms Lemonade to arrive to the 2016 Emmy red carpet and when Beyonce didn’t appear we figured–cool! We will just wait for the highly anticipated performance and then that didn;t happen and we were bummed. But Beyonce has an excuse for skipping the Emmys—she didn’t want to cancel any more of her tour stops. A source told Us Magazine, “Beyoncé got sick and decided to rest her vocal cords before her next tour dates. She just wasn’t feeling up to it, and it’s always a big production for her going anywhere with her team, glam and everything.”
Beyonce didn’t win any awards for Lemonade, although she was nominated, but she probably got the memo and passed on the show. OR SHE WAS NEVER SCHEDULED TO ATTEND. Another source added, “Beyoncé was never scheduled to perform at the Emmys.”
