Camila Cabello’s self-titled album, Camila is on the cusp of being released and she’s ready to stir it up—she’s looking for ‘Real Friends’. Camila sweetly sings about looking for friends who don’t let her down.  “I’m just lookin’ for some real friends/ Wonder where they’re all hidin’ out. I’m just lookin’ for some real friends/ Gotta get up out of this town.”And it is not a far-fetched theory that she could be talking about her former bandmates from Fifth Harmony, who she dramatically split with a year ago.

Camila also gets really romantic on  ‘Never Be The Same’ about passionate love. “Just like nicotine, heroin, morphine, suddenly I’m a fiend and you’re all I need.” Both songs show Camila’s versatile songs which range from simple and slow to upbeat and vibrant!

Camila excitedly thanked fans for being patient with her this year while she made her album, Camila. “To my Camilizers…. my debut album is finally finished. now i’m trying to steady my heartbeat!!!!!!! thank you for being so patient with me this year, i can’t wait for you to hear what has been the soundtrack to the past year of my life… all of these songs have special memories behind them, and i’m not gonna lie, it feels emotional letting them go, feels like the end of a chapter… i decided to call it by my name, because this is where this chapter in my life ended. it started with somebody else’s story, it ended with me finding my way back to myself. my album is gonna be available for pre order this Thursday, and i’m putting out two instant grat tracks with it…. one is called never be the same, and one is called real friends. it’s in your hands January 12.”
