Cheryl Cole Finally Settles Lawsuit With ‘X Factor’ Over Lost Wages!

Cheryl Cole has finally settled her lawsuit against producers Blue Orbit Productions for more than $2.3M after being fired from the US version of The X Factor a few years back. If you remember she was let go after Simon Cowell believed the British pop star would not fit in with the show in the US. Cole settled for an undisclosed amount according to Deadline. A spokesperson for Cole tells Deadline, “Cheryl’s dispute with Blue Orbit has been resolved amicably.” Cole said in the lawsuit that she was owed money from her contract. She was paid $1.8M for Season 1, but wanted her money from Season 2.

Cole and Cowell were not friendly for a long time after the firing, but have since made up.
